Claudia was born in Somerville, NJ.  She spent most of her first 32 years in northwest New Jersey.  Five of her elementary school years were in El Paso, Texas.

She met her husband, Claude in Hopatcong, NJ.  In 1986 they moved to San Diego, CA.  Their daughter, Rebecca is a sophomore in college and their son, David is a sophomore in high school.  While vacationing in Wyoming and Colorado in 1989, she and Claude discovered Winter Park, CO, a town 40 minutes south of Grand Lake.  They returned every winter to ski.  In 1997, they bought a home in Winter Park, CO.  They divide their time between Colorado and California.

Claudia earned her RN from Clara Maass Memorial Hospital School of Nursing. She then attended Jersey City State College earning a BA in Health Education with certifications in school nursing and teaching (in health education). Subsequent to those degrees, she earned an MPH in Health Administration from Columbia University in New York City.

She co-owns The Diamond Consulting Group with her husband.  She does the ‘behind the scenes’ jobs while her husband does the ‘in front of the scenes’ jobs.

Claudia enjoys yoga, walking, cooking, needlework, reading and writing.

She learned about the Rocky Mountain Repertory Theatre when her daughter became involved in the first youth theatre program that was done in conjunction with the Grand Lake Metropolitan Recreation District.  Over the years, Rebecca continued to be involved in the youth and teen programs and in a few of the adult productions.  David is still involved.  Both Claudia and her husband volunteered and were asked to be Trustees on the Board.

Claudia’s favorite production is Beauty and the Beast with Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat a close second.
