Don't forget about all of the financial benefits or enhanced giving opportunites offered by RMRT's Raise the Curtain! capital campaign.
501 (c)(3) Status -- all gifts given to RMRT or the capital campaign are 100% tax-deductible.
Enterprise Zone -- As detailed by the Colorado Department of Revenue, Taxpayer Service Division, a Colorado taxpayer who makes a contribution of $100 or more to certain eligible Enterprise Zone development projects may claim a state tax credit. The amount of the credit is 25% of the value of a cash contribution
Charitable Stock Giving – By donating marketable securities you have held for at least one year, you can generally obtain a deduction for the stock’s current fair market value and avoid paying taxes on the capital gain you would have realized if you had sold the stock and donated the proceeds.
IRA Charitable Rollover -- Qualifying Americans can once again donate directly to their favorite charities from their individual retirement accounts without counting those contributions as taxable income. The IRA Charitable Rollover giving incentive, now in effect through 2009, enables individuals aged 70½ and older to contribute up to $100,000 tax-free from their Individual Retirement Accounts and Roth IRAs.
Corporate Gift Matching Program -- Many employers sponsor matching gift programs and will match any charitable contributions made by their employees. If your company is eligible, request a matching gift form from your employer, and send it completed and signed with your gift. We will do the rest. The impact of your gift to our school may be doubled or possibly tripled! Some companies match gifts made by retirees and/or spouses.
