Where are you from, where were you born? Where else do/did you live?

I was born in Duluth, MN.  Moved to CA after college, then to Aspen for 10 years, then to Oregon, then to the Carribean, then back to Colorado to stay in the mid 80’s.

Tell us about your family-spouse, children, grandchildren.

My husband Jim and I have one son, Zack, who will be starting college this year(2008).  My husband is a painting contractor and on the Board of Trustees for the Town.

What brought you to Grand County?

We moved here in 1995 to raise our son in a small town environment and enjoy what we enjoy most – the outdoors.

What do/did you do for a living?

I am currently a Realtor with RE/MAX in Grand Lake.  I was a dental hygienist for 30 years, owned a travel agency for 10 years, and did several stints as a waitress.

What do you like to do in your spare time?

I am an outdoor person – downhill skiing, skate skiing, snowmobiling, snowshoeing, hiking, biking, and boating.  I also enjoy a glass of wine with friends and a good book.

How did you find out about about the RMRT?

I live here – you can’t ignore it – it is so much a part of this town.  My son was in the first three youth theatre productions with the Recreation District.  I will never forget him as “Toto” in the Wizard of Oz.

How did you get involved and what is your involvement?

I was recruited to join the Advisory Board 2 years ago and that evolved into a regular Board position.  I think it is so important to keep current with all that is happening in this small town.  Good communication with other entities creates good will and avoids stress in the long term.

What is (present or past) your favorite RMRT production?

I can’t name a favorite – there’s too many but I will always remember my first summer (1996) up here.  RMRT was doing “Nunsense” and they had the “Nuns” driving around town while hanging out of a VW Bug while enticing the tourists to come to the show.  I have been a fan ever since.
